Seasonal Expressions One - New Products

Welcome to the annual Seasonal Expressions One spotlight blog hop!

You have arrived here from Michelle's blog we have 20 consultants participating in this spotlight hop.  If you lose your place while moving through the hop a complete list of participants may be found here.

I like this new #CTMHSE12018 idea book. It’s full of some very cute and beautiful products to have fun with.  I’m taken with the exclusive paper doll stamp and die set offered in this book.  I only recently bought the Christmas version after I saw this one.  I figure they’ll be a set and I’d like to have all three...I’m hoping for a third one in SE2.   So no jinks okay?

I did not get to play with my paper doll, since my Mom's sick with the Flu, getting better, but still in her second week of being ill.  My Dad is back in a convalescent home for yet another fall, hospital stay, and other various medical issues. Life has a way of changing the best made plans....

I did make a card using the lovely Chelsea Gardens paper pack, the new Make if from Your Heart VOL. 4  Cards!  Squeal!, and a fun technique I learned at the Seasonal Expressions launch event.

I tried to get a photo showing how much this shimmers & shines its a very pretty technique to use in your paper crafting.

CTMH Technique Blog Hop - Blushing Backgrounds

Welcome to the Independent Consultant Technique Blog Hop!

You've arrived here from Haley's blog, but if you just found me follow the links and you'll see some fabulously fun artwork.

Our featured technique this month is the use of background stamps. CTMH offers a nice selection of background stamps plus almost any stamp can be used to create backgrounds.   The artwork created by participating consultants will show you what you can  create by using background stamps in your art creations.   These stamps work for card makers, memory making, & mixed media.

I decided to use the stamp set B1572 Banner Day and I did not use it to create banners. ;)  I found the hearts perfect for some fun, quick Valentine gift cards.

Supplies Used:
Exclusive Cardstock:  Bashful, Raspberry, White Daisy
Exclusive Ink:  Black, Raspberry
My Acrylix:  Banner Days(B1572)
Embellishments:   Banner Thin Cuts, Hearts Thin Cuts,  Silver Shimmer Trim, Watercolor Pencils

Bloom & Grow - January’s Stamp of the Month

Welcome to the Close to My Heart

Indpendent Consultant Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

You have arrived here from Michelle's blog we  have 21   consultants participating in this hop.  If you lose your place while moving through the hop a complete list of participating consultants can be found here.

I really like this stamp set it's perfect for New Year gifts, party favors, or just a fun thing to hand out to Family & Friends.   I love Poppies & Sunflowers which I plant all over the yard, so this set is perfect to tuck in some seeds and hand them out to share he joy of these happy flowers

I created two small & similar gift bags perfect to hold seeds and chocolate.
I used one of the PML cards from the new Chelsea Gardens paper pack, check out the sites to see the loads of gorgeous new products.

I used our watercolor pencils to color in the leaves in a couple shades of green.  A fun technique to try, I didn't,  is to take the Clear Shimmer Brush or Wink of Stella (whichever you have) and use it to blend your watercolor pencils.  I took some shimmery spray I had and I sprayed the card to give it a light sparkle.

Products Used:

My Acrylix: Bloom & Grow S0118 Stamp of the Month
Exclusive Cardstock:  White Daisy
Patterned Paper:  Chelsea Gardens
Other:  Watercolor Pencils, Clear Shimmer Brush
Non CTMH:  Generic White Gift Bags, Ribbon, & Shimmer Spray
