Convention 2017 Report

My first official Convention Report!

I had a fabulously fun time at Convention this year.  I meet some amazing people and connected with a few old pals.  One of the nicest gal I've ever meet was Val from down under.  She was funny, friendly, and a blast to get to know.   I hope I see her again in Vegas!

I know its all about the products, so lets get into those.  A completely revamped basics color palette with black joining White Daisy in neutrals.  Two Toned cardstock the darker shade is the color that matches our inks with the lighter shade being complementary or as I like to call it second generation.
Is this gorgeous?  I love it and the new basic Fundamentals will knock your socks off!
The new colors are:
Charcoal, Pewter, Pebble, Linen, Mink, Heather, Espresso, Nutmeg, Toffee, & Almond.
There are beautiful together and with the new Color of the Year a combination that creates some of the most beautiful heritage scrapbooking I've ever seen.  It really motivates you to do more heritage layouts just to work with such a lovely palette as the one here.

Did I mention the Color of the Year?  It is Bashful!
Here are a couple of layouts I did at Convention that focus on this palette with that beautiful bashful.

The above layout focus on the gray colors in the palette accompanied by beautiful Bashful with accents of silver foiled complements.
This layout focuses on the browns in the palette with Bashful playing a staring role.  I'm a pink gal and I adore Bashful its one of those soft pinks that make you feel good when you view it.

That's my update on the Basics palette today and I'll be back tomorrow for more reveals and product information.  If you want to see it all now pop over to our online Annual Inspirations and get going on your wish list.  Email me if you need any information about our products or have questions about any artwork.

Thanks for dropping by and please leave me some love or suggestion on today's post.
