Use Your Stash All That Glitters Blog Hop

Welcome to the Use Your Stash Blog Hop!

We are a group of crafter's that want to use up all those pieces of B&T/Patterned paper, cardstock, embellishments, and ribbon that we all have lurking in our craft rooms.  We would love to have you join us!  We currently connect with each other via a Facebook Group and if  you'd like to use up your stash please come see what we have going on.

If you have arrived here from Marie's blog your on the right path.  Be assured you'll see all the creations, since the hop is just a big circle.

This is a glitter themed hop and I figured one card needed to have a BIG glitter presence.  This is a simple Thank You card that can be made in 15 minutes perfect for busy lives.

I used an old MS Elephant punch that I love, since they have the trunks up, which symbolizes good luck a perfect baby card.

The majority of my stash of consumable product is Close to My Heart.  Now I have a ton of tools...I admit that I'm a tool junkie if it looks like it will be fun or make crafting a little easier I buy it.

Now it's time for you to travel on-wards to Wendy's blog.
Thank You for viewing our artwork.

New Seasonal Expressions Blog Hop

Welcome to our Seasonal Expressions 2 blog hop.

Close to My Heart's Seasonal Expressions 2 contains fresh new, seasonal  products that are available April 1st through August 31st 2015. I find that the paper and stamps in this idea book reflect trendy contemporary imagery for a celebration of life and family.

If you arrived here from Michele's blog you're on the right path.  We have about 40 consultants worldwide participating in this hop.

If  you've just found our hop be assured that you will see all the artwork, since the hop is actually one big circle, but if you'd like to start at the beginning, want a list of all the blogs, or get lost visit Melinda's blog.

This is a layout using the new Blossom Paper Pack, which I love love!  I used the Spellbound pattern from Jeanette Lynton's pattern book Magic.  These pattern books make it easy to create beautiful layouts and cards using any paper and embellishments.

This is my next step and I think something is missing...it's the twine.  I going to sew, by hand, the Glacier twine along the edges of White Daisy.

I finished the stitching on the pages and I still felt like it needed more, so I did more. :)  the products I used are from Close to My Heart.

I was very worried that I had made a mistake when I inked the edges in black.  I wanted to pitch the layout, but I continued to work with it and this is what I the end product became, which I love.
