Use Your Stash!

Welcome to the Use Your Stash Blog Hop!

I'm a new participant in this group of ladies, and I look forward to future challenges.
The challenge this month is that we need to create a home decor item from our stash. For me it's a challenge on what to pick, as I have a very, very, very large paper craft collection of supplies.

If  you arrived here from Katy's blog your on the right path.
If  you've just found our hop be assured that you will see all the artwork, since the hop is actually one big circle.

We moved twice this last year.  The first move was from Pennsylvania back to California.  We originally leased a small home, and purchased one once we had the chance to look around.  We found a lovely home with the right amount of rooms.  I've been working on creating my craft room, and I keep finding boxes that say craft supplies!

I'm focused on Christmas at the moment.  We just put up our trees.  We have three this year, and we found every box of Christmas items except the one with the kids stockings.  I can't believe it I have at least 15 boxes of Christmas and the stockings are most likely in a box marked craft that I haven't unpacked!

I think this will be a nice piece for the Christmas Holidays.  I have a lot of shadowbox frames that I picked up at a discount store years ago.  I saw this idea on Pinterest, and I wanted to create my version of a jingle bell frame.

I used a piece of cranberry cardstock from Close to My Heart, A silver piece of cardstock from Anna Griffin's perfect layers set, jingle bells from craft supply, and the Close to My Heart exclusive Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.

I recently purchased a Cricut Explore and I wanted to weld the word jingle together.  I could not for anything figure out how to do this, so I thought negative space would look nice.

The bells are loose in the frame, so it's an interactive piece...a jingle version of a snow globe.
I have a feeling my grandson will love shaking the jingles.

Happy Holidays!

Thank you for taking the time to view our blog hop.    Now it's time for you to hop over to  Wendy's blog.

Create from Your Heart,

Thanks for the Love!
