Paper Rose

I created this for a blog hop, but an issue arose, so I'm not participating anymore. I made this card to reflect some of the trends I've been seeing in PaperCraft's, with the two sides rounded.  I used colors that remind me of Spring, or at least Spring to me.

I used Floral Happiness to make the rose (Buttercup Ink) and the leaves (Pear, Sweet Leaf, & Topiary)  which are fussy cut, cardstock is Outdoor Denim & Pear cut with AP Cartridge, B&T is Chantilly embossed with an Anna Griffin embossing folder(Provo Craft) inked with Pear to give the embossing a pop, and White Daisy card bases. All the items I used are available here.  Hope you enjoy the card.  Thank You for hopping along!  Remember to turn your clocks ahead an hour on Sunday as we Spring forward into the season of growth.

Create from the Heart,

  1. Great the embossing detail!

  2. Can't say enough on this one! Love the embossing, love the glitz (always love projects that "BLING"!) and the simple YELLOW AND GREEN!! Oh, also love the 3D effect from the glitz...give a layer look to the stamped pedals.

  3. Really pretty results with that embossing technique! Great addition of the glitz...nice!

  4. Just thrilled with this collection of stamps. They make gorgeous cards.

Thanks for the Love!
