This set is available for $5 with a $50 purchase or it can be purchased by it self for 17.95.  We have a lot of fabulous products retiring, so you'll want to grab your favorites now before they are no longer available. Just follow this link

If you've arrived here from Krista's blog you're on the right track.  BUT if you get lost or find a broken link pop over to Melinda's blog for the whole list of participants. We have over 50 consultants participating this month.  A blog hop is one big circle, so keep hopping and enjoy all the wonderful creations.

I created these cards using patterns from Make it From Your Heart Vols. 1 and 2
I adore the How Too publications from Jeanette Lynton (Owner of CTMH) she is a true visionary and entrepreneur in the Stamping and Paper industry.  This is her 30th year in business!
I highly recommend that you pick up these volumes.  They have Layouts and card patterns, so something for everyone. These really help me when I sit down to create.

The patten is located in Make it from Your Heart Vol. 2 pattern 24.

Laughing Lola is the paper pack that I used, along with White Daisy card bases(value pack) our sneak peak of Party Washi tape Honey Triangles  that you can find in  Holidays from the Heart with a pop black and grey Sparkles, Aqua Dots, our exclusive Black Ink.

The pattern is located in Make it From Your Heart Vol. 1 pattern 23

This is our backyard at about 2 feet of snow and latter we had another foot or so.
My Dad out plowing...this scares me to death.
A perspective shot showing the snow up to my Mom's knees.  We've had it with the snow and the physical labor of moving the snow, driving in the snow, freezing because of the snow.  I'm disabled I can only do so much when it comes to snow, my Mom is 74 and my Dad 70.  We're going home.  We put our home on the market, signed the realtor contracts on Halloween, it showed up on the MLS Nov 2...the home sold in 10 days.  This is a record sale in our neighborhood and area.  We figured we had about 6 to 9 months for our home to sale.

Now the hard thing it's packing up our belongings, donating, pitching, and selling equipment.  I've packed over 400 stamp sets!

Our home closes escrow on the 31st of December.  We're flying my Dad,(health) me, my Mom, and Josh along with Sadie(pup) will be driving across country to the Sacramento Valley. My son is flying in from SoCal were he goes to Chapman University, so this will be my last creative post until February.  I'm looking forward to the warmer weather, seeing the majority of my family, being able to visit with my daughters, and grandson, who live in Tacoma, Washington, and learning what has changed, yet what has stayed the same in my 14 year absence.

Now hop on over to Dawn's blog.   Thanks for coming by I hope you've enjoyed what I created along with my long winded chat about what is going on in my life.

The Close to My Heart Consultant Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the November Stamp of the Month blog hop featuring the Close to My Heart exclusive stamp set Illuminate.

If you arrived here from Georgia's blog then you are on the right path.  A blog hop is one large circle and you will see it all if you keep hopping along.  There are 54 Consultants featuring artwork in this hop and you will find a lot of inspiration! To see the complete list of Consultants participating hop over to Melinda's blog

The Stamp of the Month program features an exclusive stamp set that is only available during the month.  You may purchase the D size set for 17.95, or with a purchase of 50.00 or more you may purchase the set for only 5.00.  Speak with your Consultant or contact me here.

My project this month is a layout that I created using Make it From You Heart Vol. II.  I adore our how too programs there is nothing else like it in the Scrapbooking and Cardmaking hobby.  We may have some imitators, but the are a pale comparison  to Jeanette Lynton's fabulous publications.  Jeanette is one Fierce lady!

I used pattern 11 on page 26.

This is both the left and right sides of the layout, now I need to add the pictures, then finish embellishing, love embellishing, some more layers, and decide on a title 'Sparkle and Shine' is the front runner, yet the image is small for a title.  I'll come up with a solution, but it will be exactly what I want to convey.

The layout is still going though my process.  I will come back and look at it again hours and sometimes days after I've started.  I decided to make this one about my son who is now studying at Chapman University in Orange California.  He love's California, and now understands why I will always call California home.
I'm working on picture selection, layering, and selecting embellishments.  I wanted to show how I work a layout this month.  I'm a traditional scrapper, and I forget about my Cricut, but I will use my dies I was think about my owl die since owls symbolize wisdom, which works for my son, since he has an academic scholarship.  I'll play some more and see where this goes.

Now I have the finished layout, and I'm pleased with how it came out.  I put a lot of thought into my creations.  I know that these will be left for future generations and I want them to know how we lived, what we thought, and what we achieved.

The bow reminds me of a bow tie, and Josh spent his High School days in ties.  He was always off to a different competition, or event.

The title elements are raised to give the layout a bit of dimension.

I usually have a hidden element on all layouts I make.  The three large pictures are all pockets, so I can put extra photos, or memorabilia, and sometimes a letter.  This might seem odd, yet I do note on the backs if the layouts contain hidden extras.

The Close to My Heart products I used are:
Illuminate-S1311 November Stamp of the Month Set
Frosted Paper Pack
Outdoor Denim Chevron Ribbon
Cocoa Ink used with the direct edge distressing technique
Versamark Ink
Buttercup Ink
Black Ink
Outdoor Denim Ink
Harvest Bakers Twine
Black Embossing Powder
Colonial White, Champagne, & Twilight Cardstock

Thank You for taking the time to view my work.  Now it's time to hop on over to Melissa's blog to see what she has made, and I know it will be lovely.

'Poster Tidings' September Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Today is so freaking awful!  I get up and we have no phone or internet service the line is dead coming into the house yet again this happened just 2 weeks ago on the 14th.  Verizon tells me that they'll be by on Thursday the 5th.  What??? are they kidding there are three of us in the house and two have health issues by the time we got to a cell phone answered all the stupid question our local 911 center asks someone would be in life threatening condition.

So I'm at my local McDonalds using their WI-Fi and I'm freaking out since I'm not sure who belongs  in front of me or is next on the hop!   Finally I got a trail version of Excel to work...the notepad option didn't have any info.

September stamp of the month POSTER TIDINGS

Okay enough about my issues.  If you've come from Jen's  blog your on the right path.  Our stamp this month features a popular trend with subway art very cool in my opinion.

Sorry I 'm so freaked about using an unsecured network that I'll add descriptions when mine is fixed.

Now hop on over to Haley's blog to see what she made with Poster Tidings.

WOOHOO Look what arrived at my house today!

Close to My Heart Autumn/Winter New Products!

My order arrived today with the Fabulous Artbooking Cartridge, I actually got dizzy when I saw it nesteled in my package.
There it is and it's all mine!  If you'd like to get one email me it takes about 8 to 10 business days to receive and is a great deal at only $99.
Just to toot about all the new items here's some pictures of all that arrived.

That's a piece of paper from the Huntington collection.  Beautiful Fall colors, and it will work for Fall, Thanksgiving, and Halloween layouts or cards.

Babycakes--my absolutely, hands down favorite paper pack!

That paisley paper is part of the Laughing Lola Collection.

This is all the great items I received for free!  It may not look impressive until you break it down  4 packages of cardstock in our exclusive color palette, a C sized stamp set, which happens to be Cricut compatible, and 6 sets of alcohol makers. A very nice reward!  I use my Hostess rewards to stock up on cardstock, and ink items I need at the time, but you can use yours for any paper, stamps, or ink items that you'd like to have, and we have 7 brand new hostess only stamp sets that are discounted, so they're an even better bonus allowing you to get more.
Isn't time you rediscovered Close to My Heart?

I will be featuring a new product from the Autumn/Winter or AW Idea Book over the next few weeks, so check back to see what paper & stamps set I decided to use, and I think the first one will be Babycakes...that pack calls to me! LOL
