The storm is not as bad here as it is in other parts of the country. I'm lucky I live in W. PA's mountain range. We're having a lot of rain, backed-up sewers that flood the streets downtown, and tree branches flying around. I live on top of a hill, so we don't have to worry about the flooding, but we have a ton of trees, so the concern is they may fall down on homes and cars. My community is very lucky we haven't had anything to terrible happen.
The concern is that our rivers will start flooding. We won't have any problems with the Allegheny the problems will arise in the Pittsburgh area as the rivers converge into the Ohio. Locally we will have issues with French Creek, but we must wait and see how bad that gets.
Our power is working, but our net goes in and out. I hope to get some items created to day, so I can post them tomorrow. My heart goes out to those in the communties hardest hit by Sandy, but I know the people of the US and our Gov't under President Obama will rise to the task of rebuilding NJ, Virginia, and NY he will not ignore these communities as Bush did with the victims of Katrina.
