Free to Be Me-National Scrapbook Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the National Scrapbook Month Blog Hop

_________________________________________________

If you have arrived here from Jen's blog your on the right path.

The layout patterns are from the How To book Magic this pattern is Showtime.
Trying out a different view
The is the Final Act Pattern.
This is a layout I'm working on and I'll post it as soon as I get it finished.

I want to add Dachshund shapes under the title.  The dog in the picture is Sounder and he's one B.A.D dog.  He's a sweetie, but full of energy, he's a part of the family and we all love our fur buddy.

I did not do any stamping on this layout showing that stamping is not a necessity with our products.  I've had more then a few tell me that they're not interested in stamping, and while we are a stamping company we're equally a scrapbooking company.

Now hop on over to Michelle's blog to see more fabulous creation with the Free to Be Me paper pack.

Welcome to the Close to My Heart Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  This month is also the premier of our new Spring and Summer Idea Book. So make sure you take a peek, and check out our great Campaign this month for even more savings.

This month we're featuring the super cute stamp set Wild About Love.  If your new to Close to My Heart our Stamp of the Month program features one exclusive D-sized stamp a month.  This stamp retails for 17.95, and it may be purchased for that price, but if you spend $50 you may purchase the set for just $5.  It's a great way to get some supplies, and a fun stamp set.
If You arrived here from Traci's blog your on the right path.  Wasn't her layout adorable?

This was a fast card to make, since I used pattern 27 from our Make it from the Heart Vol. 1.  I love our How-To's if you're experience a block or your mojo has left for a vacation, as mine has, these books are for you.

I used cardstock from our new Paper Fundamentals Basic assortment.  This is fabulous paper one side has a glossy resist, so neat. Plus Pacifica & White Daisy cardstock,   Pacifica Ink, Sorbet Ink, White Daisy card base, and the new Metallic Bakers Twine.

This is such a cute stamp set, and it works for much more then a Valentine card or layout.  When I see it two songs play through my head depending on the day.  :)  The obvious is Wild Thing by the Troggs, and Foxy Lady by the Jimi Hendrix Experience.  You could play off the words in those songs for just about anything.

Now hop on over  to Keeley's blog to see the cute card she's made.
Thank You for taking the time to view our hop.

I adore the How Too publications from Jeanette Lynton (Owner of CTMH) she is a true visionary and entrepreneur in the Stamping and Paper industry.  This is her 30th year in business!
I highly recommend that you pick up these volumes.  They have Layouts and card patterns, so something for everyone. These really help me when I sit down to create.

The patten is located in Make it from Your Heart Vol. 2 pattern 24.

Laughing Lola is the paper pack that I used, along with White Daisy card bases(value pack) our sneak peak of Party Washi tape Honey Triangles  that you can find in  Holidays from the Heart with a pop black and grey Sparkles, Aqua Dots, our exclusive Black Ink.

The pattern is located in Make it From Your Heart Vol. 1 pattern 23

This is our backyard at about 2 feet of snow and latter we had another foot or so.
My Dad out plowing...this scares me to death.
A perspective shot showing the snow up to my Mom's knees.  We've had it with the snow and the physical labor of moving the snow, driving in the snow, freezing because of the snow.  I'm disabled I can only do so much when it comes to snow, my Mom is 74 and my Dad 70.  We're going home.  We put our home on the market, signed the realtor contracts on Halloween, it showed up on the MLS Nov 2...the home sold in 10 days.  This is a record sale in our neighborhood and area.  We figured we had about 6 to 9 months for our home to sale.

Now the hard thing it's packing up our belongings, donating, pitching, and selling equipment.  I've packed over 400 stamp sets!

Our home closes escrow on the 31st of December.  We're flying my Dad,(health) me, my Mom, and Josh along with Sadie(pup) will be driving across country to the Sacramento Valley. My son is flying in from SoCal were he goes to Chapman University, so this will be my last creative post until February.  I'm looking forward to the warmer weather, seeing the majority of my family, being able to visit with my daughters, and grandson, who live in Tacoma, Washington, and learning what has changed, yet what has stayed the same in my 14 year absence.

Now hop on over to Dawn's blog.   Thanks for coming by I hope you've enjoyed what I created along with my long winded chat about what is going on in my life.
