A New Year Full of New Memories - Use Your Stash

Welcome to the Use Your Stash Blog Hop!

We are a group of crafter's that want to use up all those pieces of B&T/Patterned paper, cardstock, embellishments, and ribbon that we all have lurking in our craft rooms.  We would love to have you join us!  We currently connect with each other via a Facebook Group and if  you'd like to use up your stash or need to check us out.

If you've arrived here from Shirley's Blog your on the right path.  Be assured you'll see all the creations, since the hop is just a big circle.

This is our challenge this month-A New Year Full of New Memories - use up those jars you have in your stash to create a memory jar. Write down a good memory each day and at the end of the year, take a moment to read back over your memories. Don't have a jar, use a box or a canister or whatever you have in that stash.

Be sure to check out the Blog Candy I'm offering from Jan. 21st thru Feb. 25th  I'll be randomly selecting a winner on February 26th.  For an extra chance check out my other Blog Hop creations on  Feb. 1st, Feb. 6th, and Feb 21st.  Leave a comment for your chance to win. Mention the candy on your social media pages tell me in a comment and you'll get an extra ticket for each outlet, and if you become a follower I'll enter you twice plus the candy will grow, so check back. Candy closes on the 25th at midnight.

I've had this paper-mache container around for several years, and recently it ended up on my desk.  I hadn't even seen the list of challenges for the UYS hops.  Seemed like kismet to me, so I created this container.

I used only Close to My Heart products, since that entails 99% of my stash.  The chevron paper is from the Paper Fundamental line.  These papers have a fun trendy pattern one one side and an resist pattern on the other.  This piece is from the Whimsy assortment, the stamp set is one I received at Convention last year at Disney. It is "What a Day"-D1628 and seemed perfect for this challenge.  I try to live one moment at a time it doesn't always work, but I do try.

Now it's time for you to travel on-wards to Janet's blog.  Thank You for checking us out, and Have a fun filled 2015!
Create from Your Heart,

Don't forget the Candy!

Blog Candy

I'm offering Blog Candy!

This candy has the potential to grow..... it grows when I hit certain milestones.  I'd like to connect with others that share my interest in paper-crafts.  I mainly scrapbook, but I make cards, 3-D items, party favors, and home decor.  I love playing with paper.

Leave a comment below and you'll be entered in the drawing that takes place on Feb. 26th.  We want the candy to GROW.............................................>
Leave a comment on my various Blog Hops for additional entries, share on your blog, and social media for entries, become a follower of this blog for two entries.
I'm starting the candy off with a paper pack and chipboard complements.

When I reach 25 followers I will add another item.   Washi tape or a stamp.  when I get 15 comments here I'll add a pack of embellishments,   Hopefully will have a box fully of coordinating items and an album to put all your creations in it.

Thank you for playing along and Good Luck!

Stamp of the Month Blog Hop featuring Cutie Pie

Close to My Heart's

'Cutie Pie'  Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Yours with a qualifying purchase of $50.00 or more, and check out the December special offer from Close to My Heart.  It's a great way to stretch your Holiday and Craft dollar.

My project is a cupcake box this month, since we have a cupcake themed stamp set.  I made the simple square box from the Close to My Heart exclusive Artiste collection.  I've done some paper piecing with a cupcake and the cupcake stand popped the embellishment off the box to give it a bit of dimension.  I'm not sure about the washi tape around the rim, but I'm still creating.  For some reason I thought it was 29th and that the hop is tomorrow, not today, at 6pm(Pacific time)

If  you arrived here from  Carol's  blog your on the right path.
If  you've just found our hop be assured that you will see all the artwork, since the hop is actually one big circle, but if you'd like to start at the beginning, want a list of all the blogs, or get lost visit Melinda's blog.
